In continuation of the efforts to make Pakistan a “Green Economy”. ICT administration is planning to introduce drone Plantation technology for the very first time in Pakistan. Chief Commissioner Islamabad also confirmed the news in his recent Tweets.
He further added that this technology will be used for the very first time in our country and the first test will be conducted in Islamabad.
All the necessary steps are being taken by the ICT administration to make this introduction a success.
For PM’s initiative of 10billion Tree Tsunami Drone technology will also play its part.
According to news, to turn the dream ‘Clean Green Pakistan Movement’ into reality by planting millions of trees, the Memorandum of Understanding is recently signed between Ministry of Climate Change and National Rural Support Programme (NRSP).
Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Advisor on climate change Amin Aslam also witnessed the above signing and said that trendy technology, like drones, will be used to plant 10 billion tree across Pakistan.
“In addition, Rs.100 million ‘Challenge Fund for Climate Smart Projects’ will be launched, that will start from March, to encourage youth engagement in climate-smart activities,” he added.
